Here on the shoreline of Connecticut, snow, yes, you read that right, snow is in the forecast for this Halloween weekend. What a damper (no pun intended) this will put on all the sexy nurse, cop, kitten, etc costumes! Our Waldo and Wenda costumes, which I wrote about in this post will keep you warm.

This one probably won't. But it DOES glow in the dark!
Old Glory is lucky enough to have amazing Facebook friends and fans. Many of them are locals, people who have been frequenting our three stores and our site for years. We seriously appreciate the loyalty, and the awesomeness of our fan base. They all have one thing in common – a serious love of music – that every employee of Old Glory shares as well. It’s impossible to work here and NOT love music!
Because I am lucky enough to be the person that manages our Facebook page and profile, I was lucky enough to be included in the invites for some very cool parties this weekend. And it looks like the possibility of snow is stopping no one!
Live music, bonfires, costume contests, what’s not to love? I’m going as a zombie, wearing this blood splatter tee we print ourselves:
Which just happens to be on sale for only $10, like a lot of our costume tees. It’s not too late to order with next day shipping to have your order tomorrow if you order by three pm EST today. If you don’t need the costume until Halloween itself, you can order 2nd day shipping up to 3 pm today and next day up to 3 pm tomorrow. Click on the words to go to the page with our Halloween gear.
For those of you in state looking for last minute costumes, we do have some tees, hats, and costumes stocked in the stores. For those of you that aren’t familiar, they are located in Old Saybrook (our flagship store), Middletown, and North Haven.
What are your Halloween plans? Parties? Taking the kiddos trick-or-treating? Turning the lights off and huddling on the couch watching scary movies? Putting a bucket full of candy on your porch and going out to dinner? Tell me in the comments.
And most of all, Happy Halloween, you wonderful people!
